Rajasthan Forest Guard & Forester Eligibility Criteria 2024 – Age Limit

Rajasthan Forester Age Limit: As per official notification, the minimum age criteria for RSMSSB Forester is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years.

Rajasthan Forest Guard Age Limit: As per official notification, the minimum age criteria for RSMSSB Forest Guard is 18 years and maximum age is 24 years.

Age Relaxation Rajasthan Forest Service: The following upper age limit concession for General, OBC, SC, ST, Ex Servicemen, Women, Handicapped & candidates below the poverty line have been given age relaxation by the selection board.

Rajasthan Forest Guard & Forester Eligibility Criteria 2024 – Education Qualification

Forest Guard Education 

• Candidate must have passed Secondary or its equivalent examination from any recognized board for the post of Rajasthan Forest Guard Service.

• Candidate should have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of culture of Rajasthan for the post of Rajasthan Forest Guard Service.

Forester Education

• Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Ajmer.

or

• Candidate must have passed Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination declared by the Government for the post of Forester Service.

• Candidate should have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of culture of Rajasthan for Forester Service.

Rajasthan Forest Guard & Forester Eligibility Criteria- Nationality

Nationality Eligibility Criteria for recruitment to the post of Forest Guard and Forester Post in Rajasthan Forest Department are the same for both the posts. The nationality criteria is as under:-

• Be a citizen of India, or

• Be a subject of Nepal, or

• Be a subject of Bhutan, or

• A Tibetan refugee who came before 01-01-1962 with the intention of permanently settling in recruitment, or

• A person of Indian origin who has migrated to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanzania and Zanjiwar), Zambia, Malawi, then and Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settling in India have taken.

• Provided that the applicants will have to present the desired certificate of eligibility granted by the Department of Home and Justice, Government of India.

Physical Standard & Physical Fitness for male and female candidates for recruitment post of RSMSSB Forest Guard and Forester includes Height, Weight, Chest, Run, Walk, Sit Ups, Push ups, Cricket Ball Throw, Lang Jump, High Jump, Short Putt (Gola Fek) etc.

Relaxation Physical Standard 

Height Criteria Relaxation: Relaxation in physical standard in height is available for the candidates of  Assamese, Bhutanese, Garhwali, Kumaon, Gorkhas, Ladakhi, Mizo, Nepalese, Naga, Sikkimese candidates from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul & Spiti, and Meghalaya and ST candidates as under:-

• Male Height : 152 cms
• Female Height: 145 cms
