हिमाचल प्रदेश पुलिस प कांस्टेबल परीक्षा हिंदी विषय से आने वाले प्रश्न पर्यायवाची शब्द, लोकोत्तियाँ, मुहावरे, अनेक शब्दों के लिए एक शब्द, समास, संधि विच्छेद एवं ब्याकरण सम्बन्धी प्रश्न आते हैं।
English Language 16 Question of 16 Marks
HP Police English syllabus covers understanding of correct meaning, basic comprehension and writing ability, Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, English grammar knowledge would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks using verbs, preposition, articles etc related question would be asked.
General Knowledge/ Awareness 16 questions
HPP Exam Syllabus GS-GK History, Geography and Sociology, Economic development of Himachal Pradesh and India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India question will be asked from GK/ GS in HPP Written Exam.
HPP Math Syllabus 8 questions
HP Police Math Syllabus, Test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
HP Police Science Syllabus 8 Questions
There will also be questions on Biology, species, Laws of Physics and Chemistry, Chemical properties related questions will be asked during HPP Written Exam.
HP Police Reasoning Aptitude 16 questions
It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and and differences, problem solving, relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns etc.
