IAF Graduate Entry Scheme for Men/Women Non Tech Entry : महिलाओं एवं पुरुषों के लिए भारतीय वायु सेना में स्नातक प्रवेश योजना, As a Graduate/Post Graduate  Male/Female candidates can join as an officer in any of the following Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches in Indian Air Force for Managing human and material resources, the Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branch is the mechanism that steers the Indian Air Force. Detailed Information About AFCAT 01/: Indian Air Force issued notification from time to time for recruitment of AFCAT (01/2021) for Flying Branch & Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical)/ NCC Special Entry for Courses Commencing in Jan 2021. Detailed information about IAF Graduate Entry Scheme are given below:-

Age Limit/Cut Off Date for Indian Air Force AFCAT 01/2021 Age Limit 

For Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry:

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years
• Candidates born between 02-01-1997 to 01-01-2001 (both dates inclusive)

For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch:

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 26 Years
• Candidates born between 02-01-1995 to 01-01-2001 (both dates inclusive)

General Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty (Non-Tech) Branches IAF: Eligibility criteria for selection in Indian Air Force as graduate/post graduate entry scheme for men/women in Ground Duty Staff (Non Technical) is as under:-

INDIAN AIR FORCE ADMINISTRATION BRANCH GRADUATE ENTRY MEN & WOMEN

General Eligibility Criteria for Administration Branch (Non-Tech): Eligibility criteria for selection in Indian Air Force as graduate/post graduate entry scheme for men/women in Ground Duty Staff (Non Technical), Administration Branch Indian Air Force is as under:-

• Age limit: Age – 20 to 26 Years for Graduates and Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course);

• Marital Status – Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried;

• Nationality – Indian;

• Gender – Both men and women;

• Type of Commission: Permanent Commission for Men (PC)/Short Service Commission for Men & Women (SSC);

• Duties: Responsible for the efficient management of both human and material resources. Some of the officers of the Administration Branch are selected and trained to carry out the following duties also;

• Air Traffic Controller  – Involves maintaining an orderly flow of traffic and airspace management;

• Fighter Controller  – Involves close contact and supervision between the air and radar for effective airspace management;

• Educational Qualifications Graduate Entry Men/Women Indian Air Force:  Education qualification for Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent qualification required for Indian Air Force Graduate Entry scheme for men and women.

INDIAN AIR FORCE ACCOUNTS BRANCH GRADUATE ENTRY MEN & WOMEN

AFCAT General Eligibility Criteria for Accounts Branch (Non-Tech): Eligibility criteria for selection in Indian Air Force as graduate/post graduate entry scheme for men/women in Ground Duty Staff (Non Technical), Accounts Branch Indian Air Force is as under:-

• Age limit: Age – 20 to 26 Years for Graduates and Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course);

• Marital Status – Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried;

• Nationality – Indian;

• Gender – Both men and women;

• Type of Commission: Permanent Commission for Men (PC)/Short Service Commission for Men & Women (SSC);

• Duties: Responsible for efficient financial management of funds. You will also act as internal auditor to ensure a zero-defect audit from outside agencies;

• Educational Qualifications:  B.Com degree (minimum three year degree course) from a recognised university with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent for the post of graduate entry scheme accounts branch in IAF.

LOGISTICS BRANCH INDIAN AIR FORCE GRADUATE ENTRY MEN & WOMEN

AFCAT General Eligibility Criteria for Accounts Branch (Non-Tech): Eligibility criteria for selection in Indian Air Force as graduate/post graduate entry scheme for men/women in Ground Duty Staff (Non Technical), Logistics Branch Indian Air Force is as under:-

• Age limit: Age – 20 to 26 Years for Graduates and Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course);

• Marital Status – Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried;

• Nationality – Indian;

• Gender – Both men and women;

• Type of Commission Indian Air Force: Permanent Commission (for Men)/Short Service Commission (for Men & Women);

• Duties: Responsible for materials management of all Air Force resources. You would ensure efficient supervision of inventories, and involve in procurement processes of various ranges of equipment;

• Educational Qualifications: Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

EDUCATION BRANCH INDIAN AIR FORCE GRADUATE ENTRY MEN & WOMEN

AFCAT General Eligibility Criteria for Accounts Branch (Non-Tech): Eligibility criteria for selection in Indian Air Force as graduate/post graduate entry scheme for men/women in Ground Duty Staff (Non Technical), Education Branch Indian Air Force is as under:-

• Age limit: Age – 20 to 26 Years for Graduates and Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course);

• Marital Status – Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried;

• Nationality – Indian;

• Gender – Both men and women;

• Type of Commission IAF: Permanent Commission (for Men)/Short Service Commission (for Men & Women);

• Educational Qualifications: MA/M.Sc degree in English/Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Statistics/International Relations/ International Studies/Defence Studies/Psychology/ Computer Science/IT/ Management/ MBA/MCA/ Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Public Relations with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate in all papers put together in Post-Graduation (minimum two years programmer) and 60% marks in Graduation  (both recognized by UGC/Competent Accreditation Authority).

METEOROLOGY BRANCH INDIAN AIR FORCE GRADUATE ENTRY MEN & WOMEN

AFCAT General Eligibility Criteria for Accounts Branch (Non-Tech): Eligibility criteria for selection in Indian Air Force as graduate/post graduate entry scheme for men/women in Ground Duty Staff (Non Technical), Meteorology Branch Indian Air Force is as under:-

• Age limit: Age – 20 to 26 Years for Graduates and Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course);

• Marital Status – Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried;

• Nationality – Indian;

• Gender – Both men and women;

• Type of Commission IAF: Permanent Commission (for Men)/Short Service Commission (for Men & Women);

• Duties of Meteorology Branch IAF: As a Meteorology Branch Officer you would be involved handling the latest satellite imagery and state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, you would render specific advice to the operators on all aspects of weather;

• Educational Qualifications: Post Graduation Degree in any science stream/Mathematics/ Statistics/Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/Oceanography/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology. All candidates should have scored a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all papers of Post Graduation put together (provided Maths & Physics were studied at Graduation level with a minimum of 55% marks in both).
