Indian Army TGC Recruitment 2024:- The Indian Army has invited applications from eligible unmarried Male Engineering Graduates for 133rd Technical Graduate Course (TGC-133) commencing at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for Permanent Commission in the Indian Army. Indian Army TGC Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:- BE/B.Tech from a recognized University in relevant field Candidates who are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are also eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination along with mark sheets of all semesters/years and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA).

शैक्षिक योग्यता:- जिन उम्मीदवारों ने इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री कोर्स में उत्तीर्ण किया है या इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री कोर्स के अंतिम वर्ष में हैं वे आवेदन करने के लिए योग्य हैं। इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री कोर्स के अंतिम वर्ष में अध्ययन करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को सभी सेमेस्टर / वर्ष की मार्कशीट के साथ इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री परीक्षा पास करने का प्रमाण प्रस्तुत करने में सक्षम होना चाहिए और प्रशिक्षण शुरू होने की तारीख से 12 सप्ताह के भीतर इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री प्रमाणपत्र का उत्पादन करना चाहिए।

Note:- ऐसे उम्मीदवारों को समय-समय पर अधिसूचित आईएमए में प्रशिक्षण की लागत की वसूली के लिए अतिरिक्त बॉन्ड बेसिस पर शामिल किया जाएगा, साथ ही अपेक्षित वेतन प्रमाण पत्र का उत्पादन करने में विफल रहने पर भुगतान और भत्ते का भुगतान किया जाएगा।

Age Limit:- 20 to 27 years as on 01/2024. (Candidates born between 01/1996 and 01/2003, both dates inclusive). 01/2024 को 20 से 27 वर्ष। (01/1996 और 01/2003 के बीच जन्म लेने वाले अभ्यर्थी, दोनों तिथियां सम्मिलित हैं)।

Nationality:- (I)-Citizen of India,
(ii)- a subject of Nepal,
(iii)- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories,
(iiv)- above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by Government of India

Vacancies:- There are a total of 40 vacancies. Out of the 40 vacancies, 11 are for Civil/ Building Construction Technology, three for electrical Engg, four for Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engg, nine for Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Technology/ M. Sc. Computer Science Engg, three for Information Technology Engg, two for Electronics & Telecommunication Engg, three for Aeronautical/ Aerospace/ Avionics one vacancy each for Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Satellite Communication, Automobile Engineering, and Textile Engineering.

Type of Commission for TGC 133

Grant of Commission: Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lt from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at IMA, whichever is later and will be entitled to full pay and allowances admissible to Lt during training period. Pay & allowances will be paid after successful completion of training.

Permanent Commission:- On successful completion of training cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt.

Ante Date Seniority:– One year ante date seniority from the date of commission will be granted to Engineering Graduates of TGC Entry in the rank of Lt.

Indian Army TGC Training:- Selected candidates will be detailed for 49-weeks’ training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun according to their position in the final order of merit (engineering stream-wise) up to the number of available vacancies and subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

चयनित अभ्यर्थी भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी, देहरादून में 49 सप्ताह के प्रशिक्षण के लिए विस्तृत होंगे, जो उपलब्ध रिक्तियों की संख्या और सभी पात्रता मानदंडों को पूरा करने के अधीन मेरिट (इंजीनियरिंग स्ट्रीम-वार) के अंतिम क्रम में उनकी स्थिति के अनुसार होगा।

Cost of Training:- “The entire cost of training at IMA is at Government expense. In case the Gentleman Cadet is withdrawn from training academy due to reasons other than Medical ground or the reasons not beyond his control, he will be liable to refund cost of training @ 11952/- per week , thereafter a yearly escalation of 8% p.a will be calculated on the Per Capita cost of Training for each ensuing year,” the official notification reads.

Indian Army TGC Selection Process

Shortlisting of Candidates:- The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of cutoff marks set for each Engineering discipline/stream.. The cut off will be applied in each stream on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained by the candidates up to the final semester/year.

Center Allotment:- After shortlisting of applications, the center allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email. After allotment of Selection Center, candidates will 10 have to login to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first come first serve basis initially. Thereafter, it will be allotted by the Selection Centers. The option to select the dates for SSB by candidates may be forfeited due to occurrence of any exceptional circumstance/events.

Stage Selection:- Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage 1 will go to Stage 2. Those who fail in Stage 1 will be returned on the same day. Duration of SSB interviews is five days, and details of the same are available at official Stage Selection – Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Medical Examination:- The Candidates who shall clear all stages of SSB interview will appear for medical examination.

Joining Letter:- Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be issued Joining Letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
