राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर: NCC एक अर्धसैनिक संगठन है जो भारत के युवाओं को नेतृत्व के गुण यानी OLQs (Officer Like Qualities) को विकसित करने और युवाओं को सैन्य जीवन शैली की झलक दिखाने के लिए A प्रमाणपत्र, B प्रमाणपत्र और C प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान करता है। एन सी सी युवाओं को विभिन्न तरीकों से भारतीय रक्षा बलों या अर्धसैनिक बलों में शामिल होने के लिए भी प्रेरित करता है।

NCC Aim: The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens

Aim of NCC: NCC का उद्देश्य चरित्र, कामरेडशिप, अनुशासन, धर्मनिरपेक्ष दृष्टिकोण, साहसिक कार्य की भावना और युवा नागरिकों के लिए नि: स्वार्थ सेवा के आदर्शों को विकसित करना है।

Eligibility Criteria to Join NCC – एन सी सी प्रवेश पात्रता 2020-2021

To join NCC:  a candidate must be:-

• Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal.
• आवेदक को भारत या नेपाल का नागरिक होना चाहिए।
• Bearing good moral character.
• अभ्यर्ती का चरित्र उत्तम होना चाहिए।
• Enrolled in an educational institution.
• आवेदक को किसी शैक्षणिक संस्थान में दाखिला लिया होना चाहिए।
• Meets the prescribed medical standards.
• NCC में दाखिला के लिए आवेदक को निर्धारित चिकित्सा मानकों को पूरा करना चाहिए।

What is Age Limit to Join NCC? Age limit to join NCC will be as under:-

• Junior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – 12 years to 18½ years of age.
• Senior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – Upto 26 years of age.

NCC Divisions: There are 2 divisions in NCC:-

• Junior Division/Wing for Boys and Girls
• Senior Division/Wing  for Boys and Girls

Recruitment Period of NCC

• Junior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – 2 years
• Senior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – 3 years

How to apply for NCC

Senior Division NCC Application: A student desirous of being enrolled in the Senior Division shall apply to the Officer Commanding of the nearest NCC Unit.

सीनियर डिवीजन एन सी सी आवेदन: सीनियर डिवीजन में नामांकन के इच्छुक छात्र निकटतम एनसीसी यूनिट के कमांडिंग अधिकारी को निर्धारित प्रारूप में आवेदन करना चाहिए।

Junior Division NCC Application: A student desirous of being enrolled in the Junior Division should apply to the Headmaster/ Principal of the school in the prescribed form.

जूनियर डिवीजन आवेदन NCC: जूनियर डिवीजन में दाखिला लेने के इच्छुक छात्र को स्कूल के हेडमास्टर / प्रधानाचार्य को निर्धारित प्रपत्र में आवेदन करना चाहिए।

Education Institute without NCC Units: There is provision for students desirous of enrolling in NCC even from educational institutions that are not enlisted as NCC sub-units. In this provision of ‘Open Category’, the student needs to approach the Commanding Officer of the nearest NCC Unit for further guidance. The students can thus avail NCC training from institutions that are already NCC sub-units, subject to following conditions:-

बिना एन सी सी यूनिट के शिक्षण संस्थान:  जिन शिक्षण संस्थानों को एनसीसी उप-इकाइयों के रूप में सूचीबद्ध नहीं किया गया है, एनसीसी में दाखिला लेने के इच्छुक छात्रों के लिए भी ‘ओपन श्रेणी’ के अंतर्गत नामांकन के लिए प्रावधान है, इस प्रावधान में, छात्र को आगे के मार्गदर्शन के लिए निकटतम एनसीसी यूनिट के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर से संपर्क करना होगा। छात्र इस प्रकार उन संस्थानों से एनसीसी प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर सकते हैं जिसमे पहले से ही एनसीसी उप-इकाइयाँ हैं, जो निम्नलिखित शर्तों के अधीन हैं:-

• The educational institution in which the student is studying should not be having NCC.

• जिस शिक्षण संस्थान में छात्र पढ़ रहा है, उसमें एनसीसी नहीं होना चाहिए।

• The educational institution in which the student is desirous of undergoing NCC training should be placed under an NCC unit that has been declared an “Open Unit” by the Competent Authority.

• जिस शिक्षण संस्थान में छात्र एनसीसी प्रशिक्षण से गुजरना चाहता है, उसे एनसीसी इकाई के तहत रखा जाना चाहिए, जिसे सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा “ओपन यूनिट” घोषित किया गया है।

• If the Commanding Officer does not reject the application, the applicant shall be accepted for enrollment in the Senior Division/Wing, and shall be required to sign a declaration in Form I. If the applicant is a minor, his father or guardian shall also be required to sign a declaration provided in the form.

• If the Headmaster does not reject the application, the applicant shall be accepted for enrollment in the Junior Division. The applicant shall be required to sign a declaration in Form II and his father or guardian shall also be required to sign a declaration in the Form.
