Defense Security Corps Selection Procedure:- The Defense Security Corps is a government organization which looks after the Defense Security forces, and this is a prestigious department of Government of India that covers most part of India by providing the Defense security, where the Institutes like DRDO, ISRO and other major defense related services are secured by DSC (Defense Security Corps). DSC is a branch of Indian Army Force and is fully called Defense Security Corps and was earlier known as Department of Constabulary Center, and this department of security forces was founded on 25th February 1947 at a district in Uttar Pradesh.

रक्षा सुरक्षा कोर:- डिफेंस सिक्योरिटी कॉर्प्स एक सरकारी संगठन है जो सुरक्षा बलों की देखभाल करता है, और यह भारत सरकार का एक प्रतिष्ठित विभाग है जो सुरक्षा प्रदान करके भारत के अधिकांश हिस्से को कवर करता है, जहां डीआरडीओ, इसरो और अन्य प्रमुख रक्षा संस्थान जैसे संस्थान सेवाओं को डीएससी (रक्षा सुरक्षा कोर) द्वारा सुरक्षित किया जाता है।डीएससी भारतीय सेना बल की एक शाखा है और इसे पूरी तरह से रक्षा सुरक्षा कोर कहा जाता है और पहले इसे कांस्टेबुलरी सेंटर के विभाग के रूप में जाना जाता था, और सुरक्षा बलों के इस विभाग की स्थापना 25 फरवरी 1947 को उत्तर प्रदेश के एक जिले में की गई थी। यह सेना की छठी सबसे बड़ी वाहिनी है। रक्षा सुरक्षा कोर या डीएससी एक सुरक्षा बल है जो रक्षा मंत्रालय के अधीन है। इसमें उन सैनिकों को शामिल किया जाता है जिन्होंने सेना से प्रारंभिक सेवानिवृत्ति ले ली थी।सामान्य रक्षा सेवा कोर (डीएससी) की भूमिका रक्षा मंत्रालय की तीन सेवाओं और नागरिक प्रतिष्ठानों के रक्षा प्रतिष्ठानों को सुरक्षा कवर प्रदान करना है जहां डीएससी कवर को तोड़फोड़ और तीर्थयात्रा के खिलाफ भारत सरकार के विशिष्ट आदेशों के तहत मंजूरी दी जाती है।

Defense Security Corps Eligibility Criteria for re-enrollment

Character:- Character Should be exemplary or very good. Character assessed at the time of discharge from former service as well as re-assessed in terms of Para 170 (d) of Regulations for the Army-1987 should be Very Good.

चरित्र:- चरित्र अनुकरणीय या बहुत अच्छा होना चाहिए। पूर्व सेवा से निर्वहन के साथ-साथ सेना-1987 के विनियमों के पैरा 170 (डी) के संदर्भ में पुनर्मूल्यांकन के समय में मूल्यांकन किए गए चरित्र बहुत अच्छे होने चाहिए।

Service:- Service Should have rendered minimum five years color service. Personnel from Army / Navy / Air Force should have rendered minimum five years color service. Service counted for pension / gratuity is treated as qualifying service. Ex-Territorial Army personnel should have rendered three years embodied service with minimum attendance in seven Annual Training Camps (ATC).

सेवा:- सेवा में न्यूनतम पांच साल की रंग सेवा होनी चाहिए।सेना / नौसेना / वायु सेना से कार्मिक को न्यूनतम पांच वर्ष की सेवा प्रदान करनी चाहिए।पेंशन / ग्रेच्युटी के लिए गिना जाने वाली सेवा को अर्हकारी सेवा माना जाता है।पूर्व-क्षेत्रीय सेना के कर्मियों को सात वार्षिक प्रशिक्षण शिविरों (एटीसी) में न्यूनतम उपस्थिति के साथ तीन साल की सेवा प्रदान करनी चाहिए।

Medical Category:– Medical Category of a personnel seeking re-enrollment into Defense Service Corps (DSC) should be SHAPE-1 at the time of re-enrollment i.e. declared SHAPE-1 either at the time of discharge medical board or at the time of Re-Category Medical Board. However individuals who were upgraded to SHAPE-1 from ‘’ Alcohol Dependence Syndrome’’ in last five years before discharge are not eligible for re-enrollment into DSC.

चिकित्सा श्रेणी:- रक्षा सेवा कोर (डीएससी) में पुन: नामांकन की मांग करने वाले कर्मियों की चिकित्सा श्रेणी को पुनः नामांकन के समय SHAPE-1 होना चाहिए अर्थात डिस्चार्ज मेडिकल बोर्ड के समय या पुनः श्रेणी चिकित्सा के समय में SHAPE-1 घोषित किया जाना चाहिए। हालांकि, जो व्यक्ति डिस्चार्ज से पहले पिछले पांच वर्षों में अल्कोहल डिपेंडेंस सिंड्रोम ’’ से SHAPE-1 में अपग्रेड हुए थे, वे DSC में पुन: नामांकन के लिए पात्र नहीं हैं।

Five Years Gap:- Gap should be within five years from the date of discharge from former service till the individual reports to the recruiting agencies for physical and medical test. Hence the date on which the Ex-servicemen reports to recruiting agencies based on the said call letter, is the day he is considered to have reported for re-enrollment. This date will further be referred as the date of screening for Defense Service Corps (DSC) Enrollment.

पाँच साल गैप:- शारीरिक और चिकित्सीय परीक्षण के लिए भर्ती एजेंसियों को व्यक्तिगत रिपोर्ट देने तक पूर्व सेवा से निर्वहन की तारीख से पांच साल के भीतर गैप होना चाहिए।इसलिए, जिस दिन पूर्व सैनिक उक्त कॉल लेटर के आधार पर भर्ती एजेंसियों को रिपोर्ट करते हैं, वह वह दिन होता है, जब उन्हें फिर से नामांकन के लिए रिपोर्ट किया जाता है।यह तिथि आगे डिफेंस सर्विस कोर (DSC) नामांकन के लिए स्क्रीनिंग की तारीख के रूप में संदर्भित की जाएगी।

Age for DSC:- All ex-servicemen except Ex-Clerks should be below 48 years on the date of individual reporting to the recruiting agencies for physical and medical test. Maximum age for re-enrollment of Clerks into DSC is below 50 years. 

डीएससी के लिए आयु:- एक्स-क्लर्क को छोड़कर सभी पूर्व सैनिक शारीरिक और चिकित्सा परीक्षण के लिए भर्ती एजेंसियों को व्यक्तिगत रिपोर्टिंग की तारीख से 48 वर्ष से कम होना चाहिए।डीएससी में क्लर्कों के पुन: नामांकन के लिए अधिकतम आयु 50 वर्ष से कम है।

a)- Soldier General Duty Defence Service Corps (DSC) Upto 48 years on the date of screening.

b)- Soldier Clerk Defence Service Corps (DSC) Upto 50 years on the date of screening.

Education Qualification:- The minimum education qualification required for non-metric personnel for re-enrollment into Defense Service Corps (DSC) is Army 3rd Class Certificate of Education (ACE-III).

शैक्षणिक योग्यता:- रक्षा सेवा कोर (डीएससी) में फिर से नामांकन के लिए गैर-मीट्रिक कर्मियों के लिए आवश्यक न्यूनतम शिक्षा योग्यता सेना की तीसरी श्रेणी का शिक्षा प्रमाणपत्र (एसीई-तृतीय) है।

Re-Enrollment of Clerk (SD):- Only Ex-Clerk (GD/SD) who have retired from service in the rank of Nk / Hav will be eligible for re-enrollment into DSC as Clerk (SD). Clerk (SKT/IM) are not eligible.

क्लर्क (एसडी) का पुन: नामांकन:– केवल एक्स-क्लर्क (जीडी / एसडी) जो एनके / हवलदार के पद पर सेवा से सेवानिवृत्त हुए हैं, वे डीएससी में क्लर्क (एसडी) के रूप में पुन: नामांकन के लिए पात्र होंगे। क्लर्क (SKT / IM) पात्र नहीं हैं।

Re-Enrollment of JCOs in to DSC:- JCO’s from Army, and their equivalents in Navy, Air Force and TA are eligible for lateral entry into DSC as JCO only. Vacancies for JCOs cat is allotted to various Regt / Corps Trg Centers only.

Re-Enrollment of TA Pers:-Ex-TA pers will be re-enrolled into DSC only by the Regt Centers, who are having TA Bns.

Recruitment of Cook Into DSC:– There is no provision for re-enrollment into DSC as cook. If the individual is willing and fulfilling the eligibility criteria for re-enrolment as Sep (GD), he can be screened for Sep (GD).

Documents Required for Re-Enrolment into DSC

Physical Fitness Test for DSC Enrollment:-PPT as applicable to the age in the Army will be conducted for re-enrollment for Ex Servicemen into DSC. The following Physical Tests will be conducted:-

(A)- 2.4 KM run (ii) 100 Meter sprint

(B)- 5 Meter shuttle (1 Min) (iv) Push Ups

(C)- Bent Knee Sit Ups (vi) Chin Ups.

(D)- Physical Measurement Test: PMT Height/Weight/Chest will be applicable as per initial enrollment into the Army/Navy/Air Force

Cause of Discharge:- Should have been discharged either on fulfilling the terms of engagement / condition of enrollment or at his own request.

Plural Marriage:- Plural Marriage cases are not eligible for re-enrollment into DSC under AR 13(3) item III(v).

Discipline:-Personnel with not more than one red ink entry during the last five year of former service and not more than two red ink entries during the entire former service are eligible for re-enrollment into Defense Service Corps (DSC). However, those personnel who have been awarded one red ink entry under Army Act Section 48 for intoxication during the last five years of former service are NOT eligible for re-enrollment into Defence Service Corps (DSC).

Gratuity and Pension:-Under the revised terms of gratuity and pension, Defence Service Corps (DSC) personnel will continue to draw the following:

(1). Military pension and retain Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity (DCRG), in which case their former Military Service shall not count as the qualifying service.

(2). They will be entitled to second service pension and DCRG if service in Defence Service Corps (DSC) is 15 yrs or more.

(3). Minimum qualifying service to earn service gratuity is 5 years.

(4). If individual desires to include his previous military service, he will cease to draw pension and also refund the service gratuity including DCRG if any.

Concessions and Benefits:-In addition to pay, the personnel of Defence Service Corps (DSC) will continue to get Dearness Allowances and other allowances as applicable to Army, Navy and Air Force personnel. They are also entitled for the following:

(1). 45 days of Annual Leave and 15 days of Casual Leave.

(2). Leave Travel Concession.

(3). Per Month Health Allowance(PMHA).

(4). Children Education Allowance (CEA) / Reimbursement of Tuition Fee.

(5). Free Medical treatment and Free Rations.

(6). Benefits under Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) Relief Fund

(7). Benefits under ESSA.

(8). Amenities as for Regular Army Personnel.

Important Notice:– Recruitment is a free service. Army recruitment cannot be influenced by any touts or outsider. Don’t give money to touts and do not get involved with them. Any involvement with touts will render your candidature null and void. In case any staff member of ARO or any body else from the Army asking for any monetary gratification should be immediately brought to the notice of the authorities.
